We had a very promising storm in October but not much to speak of this month!. Today, however, the snow dance has worked and we are experiencing light put constant snow fall!!!

Everone put on your snow boots and do the crazy snow dance so we can get the sking and snowboarding fun to begin!!!

First Snow!!!

Wow it's only October and we have already received about 6 inches of snow!!!  Brundage received 15 inches from this storm, and although we are expecting rain for a few days another storm is predicted.  November 7th is said to come with about 3 inches...It looks like we are going to be in for a good ski season, lets all do our snow dance!!! Good Weather on the Horizon

Today is wet and grey but according to all the weather reports I have been looking at we seem to be on track for some lovely mid spring weather.  By the middle of May we should be in the 70's which is quite atypical for McCall this time of year...we are all waiting for the warming trend to come and stick around.  The lake has thawed in record time and virtually over night we went from what appeared to be frozen solid to boat ready in a span of about 36 hours.  The first speed boat was racing through the water on April 28th and by Sunday the 29th there were several boats braving the rather bi-polar weather conditions...sunny...grey and cloudy...rain...wind...then sun again.  It was an interesting weekend.  Visit McCall for Memorial Day weekend and buy 2 nights and get 1 free!!! Amazing March Snowfall!!!

We have had some excellent snowfall the past few weeks and especially the past few days. Brundage has received 17 new inches in 48 hours. Looks like winter took it's time getting here but now that it has come it is blessing us with great skiing and snowboarding as well as all the other outdoor fun McCall has to offer.
