It's a beautiful sunny day in McCall!

In most places in th USA it's spring, in McCall, there is still snow on the ground. And that means that we're still skiing, snow boarding, and other winter activities. I'm not sure how much longer it will last, though. It's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow! But I just looked at the 10 day weather forecast and it's showing snow next week, so who knows? Everyone has been saying we're going to have an early Spring, the snows been melting, the sun has been shining, it's been beautiful! But with an early Spring comes an abbreviated ski season and a very dry summer, which hurts our economy. Forever the devils advocate, I kept saying to all these wanna be meteorologists, "it's only the first week of March we've had snow in June before, there's plenty of time for more snow." In fact we could get another two or three feet of that glorious white stuff. Low and behold when I walked outside this morning to go to work it was snowing and it's been snowing ever since. It's supposed to snow tomorrow too, and a couple more days this week, and possibly some more next week. So that's fantastic news for all you snowmobilers, skiers, and boarders!! It's also great news for those of you who only venture up here in the summer. It means more wild flowers, morels, huckleberry's, higher water levels, greener grass.
